A bundle of joy becomes a barrel of trouble for two nurses caring for a newborn when each of their boyfriends thinks he's dating a secret single mom! Wisecracking Patsy Kelly teams with a hot, funny blonde for a Hal Roach farce, but this time her co-star isn't Thelma Todd. Todd had died under tragic (and mysterious) circumstances in 1935 at the age of 30. The search for a new foil for Kelly led to the Polish-born Lyda Roberti, whose fractured English and sparkling comedy skills made her a Broadway smash opposite Bob Hope in Roberta. Kelly and Roberti are adorably zany together, but their partnership was sadly short-lived. Roberti suffered a fatal heart attack the year after this film was released. She was only 31.
