Men come to blows in the courtyard of a church as a priest in cassock flees. Working in color, Pulika depicts a legend from northern Brazil. Migrating farmers seeking a plot of land settle illegally in the fertile Amazon valley. But a mythic personage known as Capa Verde (Green Cape) stops them.
