Tall buildings thrust towers toward the sky, bisected by strong diagonals. Evoking the bustle of traffic and lights in motion, Andre de Miranda creates a dynamic woodcut print. This is an homage to the great Brazilian artist Lívio Abramo, whose work left a mark on an entire generation of artists. Unfortunately, I did not have the privilege of knowing Lívio Abramo, but his work has always fascinated me, de Miranda says. I consider him my master.
