Saul Montesinos honors Mexico's brave Aztec warriors through his collection of Day of the Dead ceramic sculptures. Crafted and painted by hand with admirable detail, this skeleton wears the attire and insignia of the Eagle Warriors. They were bedecked with eagle feathers and talons, for they believed the items would make them stronger and braver. Anyone could become an Eagle Warrior, entrance was not restricted to social class, and those who showed greater bravery and victory could become part of Aztec nobility. Part of NOVICA's Dia de los Muertos collection.
