A study in anatomy and artistic mastery leads Claudio Aun to create this formidable sculpture of Mercury's foot. In classic Roman lore, Mercury was the messenger of the gods as well as the god of trade. His personal characteristics are borrowed from Hermés, his Greek counterpart. Mercury is known for wearing winged sandals or talaria (of the ankles), which made him a swift messenger. Aun works with marble resin to sculpt this life-like piece. Titled Mercúrio in Portuguese.
