By Wilson Aboagye, this sculpture is designed in the form of a mask. It depicts a lady from Ghana who wears her hair in tiny braids while a tall, slender bird poses atop her head. I carved this sculpture to tell about the good deeds of a woman named Obaa Yaa. She is able to mobilize the women of the village and arrange for training programs to empower them economically. She is a role model to the people of her village. She is easily approached, caring and loving. This is what the world needs from our leaders, he explains.
