Alberto Aparicio Canchari crafts an endearing nativity scene featuring the Holy Family accompanied by the Three Wise Men. They all wear the traditional costumes unique to the Lambayeque region. The set includes a donkey and a cow, each figurine painted by hand with expressive detail. According to legend, Lambayeque receives its name after a green stone deity, known as Yampallec, brought to the region by king Naylamp. It is said that while the divine sculpture stayed in the region, the lands were fertile and the people flourished under a reign of peace.
