Raul Vinelli vividly captures the singular coloration of the red headed macaw. Known in Brazil as the arara, it takes its name from its hoarse call, arrarrar! Bright green feathers provide camouflage in the rain forest where tropical flowers bloom as brightly as the bird's feathers. Vinelli sculpts the piece from pinewood and presents it on a liana vine perch. Because each piece is crafted by hand, the shape of the perch can vary.
