Jeff DuFlon grew up in the colonial town of Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979. An avid photographer, he has a vast collection of photos. This intriguing memory game combines his love for woodworking and photography. Each game piece is shaped from parota wood and an original photograph is laminated to the wood. They depict the treasures to be seen around every corner, he says. The 50 game pieces and their handmade box are stored in a bag crafted of recycled fabric from backstrap looms – the handwoven skirts favored by the Maya women of the region. Motifs and colors of the bags may vary.
