Crossing fields of red in neat bands, pyramids, temples and mountains appear in the glow of dawn. Inspired by Navajo designs, Alberto Ruiz and his wife weave a beautiful Zapotec rug on the handloom. Because each rug is individually woven, measurements could vary +/- 2 inches (5 cm).
