Relaxing for a moment, a man rests with the water jars he carries over his shoulders. Floral tendrils surround the man with lavish arabesques in a sculpture by Putra Suteja. Keeping her late husband's artisan heritage alive, Eka removes the husk from a coconut shell and polishes the piece to a sheen before carving the images. Beautiful and original, it stands on an albesia wood base. Please note size and coloring may differ as the artist works with natural coconut shell.
