Don Quixote de la Mancha and his sidekick, Sancho Panza ride forth to tilt with windmills. Armando Ramírez depicts the beloved characters from Miguel de Cervantes' 17th century novel, sculpting the idealistic knight and his friend from recycled car parts. Screws, sparkplugs and a timing chain contribute to Quixote while another timing chain, a cogwheel, wires and die cut scraps form Sancho Panza. The windmill features a ball bearing, sheet metal and parts from a starter switch. Ramírez does not give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.
