The construction industry is inherently plagued by struck–by and caught–in–between hazards. Statistics show that these two types of occupational hazards are among the four leading causes of construction–related fatalities and injuries. Aside from being part of the Fatal Four in construction work, it's no surprise that struck–by and caught–in–between hazards are also associated with the most frequently cited violations in the industry. That's why the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) strongly recommends hazard recognition training for construction workers and personnel.
