Inspired by the art and customs of the Moche people, Walter Jose Acosta crafts an extraordinary ceremonial vessel. Adorned with the face of a warrior, it is believed its function was to collect the blood of imprisoned warriors who were sacrificed to honor the gods. The Moche priest would drink it believing he would possess the warriors' soul and strength.
