The spider you can see is not the one to be afraid of. The one that you see, then lose track of is the one that will really haunt you. A wise old arachnophobe told us that not too long ago. We didn't quite understand the advice he gave us at first, but then we arrived home after a long day only to find a massive spider sitting on our pillow. Our fear rose to what we thought would be its height, so we struck with one of our shoes, but missed! We then realized what new peaks our horror could reach as it disappeared beneath the blankets. We decided to burn the house and stay in a hotel for a couple days after that. This black widow spider window cling will serve as a reminder that spiders are scary and to not let them out of your sight, as if you need to be reminded.
