My hands-down favorite thing about the ski-resort city of Courchevel in the French Alps is waking up in the morning, eating a quick breakfast, and then hitting the slopes straight out the front door of the chalet. I spend the day exploring the mountain, hitting the highest peaks early in the morning to take advantage of the freshly groomed runs and spectacular views. Once weve skied ourselves out, its back to the hotel for a sauna and hot tub before heading to aperitif and the ensuing dinner.
