This shoulder bag is designed by Farida Ridwan of Indonesia and handcrafted from leather. Floral motifs in burnt orange, buff, and black are featured on the surface of the bag, achieved using the batik method, where a wax resist is applied to the leather before it is painted by hand. Kawung is one of the oldest known batik designs, historically reserved for royalty. With a removable, adjustable leather shoulder strap, the handbag opens at the top with a zipper to reveal a multicolored lining in cotton with floral motifs. The bag's interior features a large compartment divided by a zipper pocket in the center, with another zipper pocket located on the side.
