An avid yoga fan herself, Susan designs this convenient strap for yoga mats. She works in blue cotton, creating the motifs with the jumputan batik technique. Portions of the fabric are sewn and tightly bound with cords before dyeing to leave the desired patterns in white. Finally, the colored portions are stamped by hand in a process that takes up to a month to complete. A buckle on the shoulder strap makes it adjustable in length, and fabric straps at each end grasp the mat and fasten with Velcro.
