This lamp sheds light on a graceful ballerina rising from a blossoming flower in a design by Mexico’s Armando Ramírez. Rugged auto parts and discarded metal find harmony in a dainty ballerina whose head is crafted from a bearing and her body from a connecting rod. An armor crown is transformed into her tutu; her long arms and legs are shaped from wires and her hands and feet from pieces cast off a die machine. The rose’s petals were once sheets of steel. The ballerina poses under a jute lampshade.
