Carved by hand of sese wood, this Ghanaian mask features an original design by Francis Agbete, who draws inspiration from his artisanal roots. He crafts the mask from local sese wood, covering the face with finely-detailed embossed aluminum and hanging cotton twine tassels from the ears. He finishes the mask with paint, giving the upper portion of the head a spotted motif.
