We need odo (love) in everything we do, believes Ghanaian artisan Ali Mohammed. His belief inspires his design of this colorful mask. He carves the sese wood mask by hand, featuring wide expressive eyes and a pouting mouth. Mohammed paints the mask with a bright palette of colors that includes yellow, green, blue, white, red and black.
