In The Right of Way she plays the love interest for Conrad Nagel's performance as infamous amnesiac lawyer Charles Beauty Steele, in this adaptation of the book by Sir Gilbert Parker. While in The Truth About Youth, Loretta Young plays the cast-off intended of a wastrel lad who has fallen under the spell of Kara, a bewitching cabaret singer ably played by fellow screen siren Myrna Loy.
