The Emmy®-winning comedy scores laughs with its lighthearted look at the crazy cases and characters of New York's night court in the late 1980s. Emmy® winner John Larroquette's comedic skills shine as he brings to life arrogant assistant district attorney Dan Fielding. First, Dan gets more than he bargained for when he foolishly agrees to take bailiff Bull (Richard Moll) to a private singles club. Then, Dan hosts a controversial late-night talk show where his natural talent for insulting people comes in handy. Plus, Roz gives Dan dancing lessons and Christine finds out she is pregnant! Recurring guest star John Astin (The Addams Family) appears as Harry's estranged father, Buddy, who used to live in a mental institution. He might just fit right in with the ongoing stream of oddball defendants in New York City's night court. Gordon Clapp (NYPD Blue) and Ray Abruzzo (The Practice) also guest star.
