Josue Chauca celebrates Peru's ecological treasures with intense colors and ethereal forms. My intention for to this painting was to depict human communication with nature above all technical care, language or structure, explains the young artist. I want to reveal nature's mysteries, especially the 'elongated beings' – a term I use to describe all kinds of birds. The reason why I named the painting 'Orion' is because I was reminded of a Mexican magazine with that title; I used to love reading the featured stories. It's logo featured an eagle.
