This composition came to me one day, when I was thinking about Guatemala's situation, confides Hermelindo Mux Yool. My country is beautiful and has many riches but it is awash by the tides of corruption. It means the country cannot develop properly, which is why I depicted our flag surrounded by barbed wire. It represents the borders we must cross to overcome the poverty that drowns the majority of the population.
