At first, I thought of naming this monotype print 'Hallucinogenic,' says artist Paula Balderas. It was inspired by nature and conceived in the imagination. This is the result of an innocent game of rapid lines that, when united with color, resulted in spaces that took the place of forms. Thus the initial lines stand out. Between colors and forms, there is a nebulous ambience, as though at times we fix the gaze on one point yet our mind is occupied with another. Titled Alucinaciones in Spanish, the print is framed in pinewood.
