Thai artist Noppadon Kamkong continues his meditation on the lotus flower, sacred as the Buddha's preferred offering, in this shimmering gold-hued triptych. Kamkong begins by applying non-toxic latex glue to the canvas to achieve the highly textured background, then adds acrylic color and gold foil to create the flowers. The result is a closely observed composition whose equipoise is mesmerizing. Each panel comes mounted in a handsome pine frame.
