A tall clay jar takes pride of place while calabash gourds fan out in either direction. The atmosphere is verdant and fertile. The calabash is used throughout West Africa to carry and store a vast variety of goods and products, while pots are used for many purposes. This makes them precious items in the home, artist Noah Boachie says.
