Artfully handwoven on a backstrap loom, this cotton cushion cover by Emma Gutiérrez represents Guatemala's Zero Hunger movement, where the government teams up with local artisans in order to eradicate hunger. Diamond motifs in spice and black dance across its champagne surface, inspired by the earthy dresses of Tecpan, designated as Guatemala's first capital in 1524. The back of the cushion cover is a solid burnt sienna color.
