Strips of handloomed cotton in shades of green and yellow become a dramatic cushion cover by Diego Olivero. Skillfully woven, it takes the pattern of the traditional petate – a hand-woven palm mat used for everything from floor coverings, to sleeping pads to shrouds. The back of the cover is solid lime green.
