There's something special about designs that are clean, repetitive, and use neutral color schemes in order to draw attention to the pattern's elegance. Indian artisan Anil Khandelwal masterfully employs this decorative method on a cotton bedspread and two pillow cases. Khandelwal uses running kantha stitch, block printing, and a floral motif border to make this alluring design on top while the underside is simply striped. The pillow cases take on a complementary look of solid white with white and grey kantha embroidery.
