Sheep and llamas graze in a sunny highland meadow. Succulent red tuna poses on a prickly pear cactus and trees are heavy with fruit. Women of the Santa Magdalena Association create this delightful scene on a cushion cover. They work in the traditional art of arpillería (patchwork) – each tiny figure is crafted in three dimensions and embroidered. A slot opening at the back permits insertion of the cushion.
