Moving gracefully on long, slender legs, a flamingo wades through the shallows looking for fish. Fashioned of an astonishing assortment of recycled metal, the bird springs from the imagination of Armando Ramírez. Galvanized wire becomes the legs and neck, a rocker arm joins wings of sheet metal. Discarded car parts complete the whimsical sculpture. Ramírez does not give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.
