I carved this sculpture as a symbol of every parent's love, care and affection toward their children, says Ghanaian artist Eric Danquah. He hand-carves the sculpture from sese wood, sensitively portraying a mother breastfeeding her babe. She is wearing a spotted sarong in shades of blue, orange and brown. Titled Medo me ba in Akan.
