Francis Agbete honors the birth of Christ through his incomparable wood art. Working with African rosewood, Agbete sculpts a 14-piece nativity scene that includes Mary and Joseph kneeling next to an angel, followed by a camel and a shepherd standing up. A donkey lies down in front of the hut, and on the other side are the three Wise Kings with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Three sheep guard the manger where the Baby Jesus peacefully sleeps.
