By Walter Jose Acosta, this ceremonial vessel has two spouts, joined by a curved handle. A flower centers the sculpture, a replica of an ancient Moche huaco, or clay vessel. Painted by hand with earthen pigments, hummingbirds encircle the jar as they eagerly feast on the blossom's sweet nectar.
