This centerpiece is filled with the traditional artistry of Ghana's Akan people. Abdul Salami Amadu hand-carves the black and red centerpiece from sese wood and adorns it with etched patterns that suggest a continuous sense of movement. Amadu calls this design Ye papa, meaning do good.
