The Chancay archeological site offers Felipe GirĂ³n a wealth of inspiration for the design of this copper-colored tray. Painting freehand on glass, GirĂ³n expertly replicates the ladder patterns that adorned Chancay ceramics and textiles. For this tray he prepares a palette of red, orange and yellow with an antiqued finish featuring gilt applications.
